Since I fell in love with youtube about three years ago my passion for makeup and the art behind it has grown and exploded into my everyday life.
I think it's safe to say that I am OBSESSED with makeup. I love everything from researching the product, to buying the product, to testing the product. The whole process simply fascinates me.
Although I've worn makeup for years (since I was twelve?-It started with simple eyeliner and has worked it's way up to a full face) I've never worked with makeup on other people...
BUT-I'm going to be doing my first makeup gig this Sunday for a club event! It's for a drag show-I'm doing the makeup for two female dancers and the theme is "GaGa" I am super pumped and I have so many ideas swimming in my head!
My initial idea was a bold yellow lid (maybe with a little sparkle?)-smoked out with black and an intense white highlight on the brow bone, dramatic brows and lashes, a bold red lip and some fierce contouring on the cheeks!
The queen herself wants to work with black/silver/white sooo I'll see what I can do with that, either way it's going to be bad-ass and I can't wait!
I'm actually kind of nervous-but it a good way! I just want to do a good job and I really hope that my work looks good!
